Mamaload — Why did you choose marine collagen?

When wondering which collagen to choose, the source matters. Marine collagen peptides are safer and more biologically active than those derived from mammals. They have improved physical and chemical properties, as well as bioactive benefits, such as antioxidant, anti-ageing, antimicrobial and wound-healing effects. Marine collagen is also richer in glycine and proline, two amino acids important for the health of skin and hair, which gives it superior antioxidant effects compared to porcine and bovine sources.
